3D Rendering of proposed dwelling
Working with DADA & Associates again on this residential building on a beach site at Berbara in Lebanon on the Mediterranean sea. The house has designed to take full advantage of all the characteristics of its coastal site, by optimising passive solar design and using renewable energy.

ZEF proposed a solar collector for hot water and under-floor cooling, photovoltaics to produce energy that feed the ASHP (air source heat pumps) which will cool the house during summer. This will greatly reduce the carbon footprint from the house. Greywater systems have been studied to reduce the water waste in the house.
