ZEF and Avanti Architects won ‘Tomorrow’s Lifestyle Home’ competition at The Mail on Sunday British Homes Awards 2008.

The brief was to design a sustainable building which has the capability to be altered and extended to meet the occupants’ changing lifestyle needs, without the need to extend the plot size, in mixed communities where families, couples and singles can live in harmony.

ZEF devised sustainable passive means of saving energy and resources. Also the house has been designed to achieve a minimum of Code Level 4 for Sustainable Homes with a potential rating between 69 and 82.
