ZEF was appointed to produce the Sustainable Framework and MEP Services Design for the project. Renewable energy systems included installing solar thermal panels for hot water, rain water harvesting technologies and energy efficient air-handling-units to provide the heating and cooling source. A high velocity air curtain was also proposed and simulated using computational fluid dynamics software. The air curtain was implemented to prevent convective heat transfer between the green zone and the display hall.
