Discovery Group has appointed ZEF and the international architect studio Hamiltons to oversee its newest redevelopment project in Žižkov, the historical cadastral district of Prague, Czech Republic.

The €400 Million project is scheduled to go up in two phases. The first phase, budgeted at €120 Million, is expected to be completed in 2009 and will include a 60,000m2 retail and leisure centre as well as a residential segment featuring 2,000 apartments.

The first phase of the Žižkov project, circa 4 hectares, will include a retail and leisure centre with residential aspects, which will serve as a gate to the new city district built on former freight railway station. All phases will include circa 120,000m2 of residential (roughly 2000 flats), 60,000m2 of retail and leisure, a 150 bed hotel, 10,000m2 of office space and 1.5 hectares of parkland.
